What’s Included

A Deep Dive Into Every Feature

Every plan is packed with tools designed specifically for DAT Reading Comprehension. Here’s a closer look at what you get.

Prometric-Grade Simulator

The test interface is modeled on the actual Prometric DAT software, the same passage and question layout, font, spacing, and Mark/Review controls you’ll see on exam day.

Toggle the Prometric Delay to match real testing center pacing, or add time accommodations if you have them approved.

Per-Type Analytics

After every session you get an instant breakdown of accuracy by question type, Inference, Main Idea, Tone, Best-Describes, and the rest, so you know exactly which categories are costing you points.

Score prediction translates your percentage into Old Scale (1–30), New Scale (200–600), and Percentile so you can watch a real DAT score estimate emerge as you practice.

Reading Strategies Library

Ten-plus distinct strategies including Search & Destroy, Passage Mapping, Signposting, Chunking, Main Idea First, and more. Each one is explained step by step so you can try them all.

Practice each strategy on real passages and find the approach that clicks for you.

WPM Training Center

The DAT gives you 60 minutes for 3 passages, 20 minutes each, and the clock moves fast. Most students don’t lose points to difficulty; they lose them to time.

30 timed reading passages with live words-per-minute tracking and a progress graph that watches your speed climb week by week. Each run ends with a short comprehension check so speed never comes at the cost of retention.

DAT RC Vocabulary

173 curated adjectives, abstract nouns, and rhetorical terms pulled directly from the answer choices in Tone, Best-Describes, and Synonym/Antonym questions.

Interactive flashcards with passage-style examples. The words students typically miss, measured, polemical, contextualist, reflexive, become second nature.

When your plan expires, you'll lose access to the simulator and new practice sessions. However, your analytics data and progress history are saved, so if you re-subscribe, you can pick up right where you left off.

Yes. Free practice gives you one full RC passage, one WPM training passage, and the full reading strategies library. No credit card required. Vocabulary flashcards and the other 99+ passages unlock with Standard or Premium.

Each account is intended for individual use. Our analytics and progress tracking are personalized to your performance, so sharing would compromise the accuracy of your data. We recommend each student have their own account for the best experience.

We recommend 1 passage per day for optimal improvement. Our Daily Reading component automatically assigns you a passage each day based on your skill level and weak areas. Consistency matters more than volume, students who practice daily see significantly better results than those who cram.

We add new passages and features regularly. Premium members get early access to all new content. Our goal is to continuously expand the passage bank and improve the analytics tools based on student feedback.
